Conditions:
Client has the right/permission to use digital images for reproduction, transmission and website posting. The copyright to all
images created on the date of service, remain the sole and exclusive property of the photographer, Sarah Achten. Photographer reserves the right to use photographs in a self-promotional manner in either print advertising, social media or on website.
A 50 percent down payment is due at the time of contract signing in order to reserve the date unless other arrangements are made. Remaining balance is due at time of service/event. No photographs/products will be edited, delivered or posted on website until balance has been paid in full. 50% of the down payment is refundable only if cancellation is made in advance of 6 months prior to assignment. The www.edenscovephotography.com website will default to requesting a $500 minimum deposit from you upon contract signing. Please contact Sarah Achten for other arrangements.
Travel beyond 150 miles round trip is billed at $1 per mile for 6 hour events or longer. If the event is less than 6 hours, travel beyond 100 miles round trip will is billed at $1 per mile.
800-1500 digital pictures will be provided for approximately 6-8 hours of coverage. Eden’s Cove Photography is not to be held negligent for missed photographs or photos not taken because a wedding is considered an uncontrollable event (such as weather and other acts of God, behavior of guests or other vendors, 'uncle Bobs', other technology present, etc) and the number of photographs we take is an estimate and is not guaranteed. Specific photographs or poses are not guaranteed. Eden’s Cove Photography will make every effort to photograph desired shots discussed, guests, friends and family, but can not guarantee that photos will be shot of every guest in attendance nor include every photo discussed. We will capture the event using primarily a Photojournalistic style which will showcase a candid style of photography. Pintrest boards will be used as inspiration for the style of photos you like; exact replicas are not guaranteed.
It is customary to provide a meal for photographer and assistant (if applicable). Please keep this in mind when reserving caterer. It is beneficial for us to finish eating at the same time as the bride and groom or guests, so that we are able to continue the photojournalistic coverage of events as they take place. If plated dinner, please try to encourage your caterers to serve our meals as they serve yours so we can accomplish this seamlessly. For 8 hour events or longer, if no meal is being provided for photographer/assistant, then we are entitled to a 45 min to 1 hour break to acquire food.
Overtime is billed at $200 an hour or $250 an hour for lead plus 2nd photographer.
To lock in album price quote, album must be paid for in full within three years of booking date. For albums ordered at time of booking, layouts must be approved by client within two years of layout delivery or album down payment costs will be forfeited.
Neither Eden’s Cove Photography, nor Sarah Achten, are to be held responsible for costs beyond which the client has already paid for products in regards to situations beyond the control of Eden’s Cove Photography that involve loss of images due to theft, natural disaster, fire, or loss of data.
Eden’s Cove Photography will not be responsible for any future changes in digital technology or media readers that might result in an inability to read the digital media (thumb drives, CDs or DVDs) provided. Client maintains responsibility to ensure that the digital files are copied to new media as required by changes in technology.
ESTIMATED TURNAROUND TIME
Digital Images will be provided to client approximately:
-8 weeks after the Event Date (November - March)
-12 weeks after the Event Date (April - November)
